If it helps, I don't think most of them should be taken seriously. It could be from twisting what actually happened, apparent deaths that were either very brief or faked, or completely made up using the knowledge of your world.
I've met people that have died before as well. They did get better. The one in the Animus that decided this event probably worked for bits of truth mixed in with the dramatic for the best reactions.
